Hotel Schloss Fuschl has the sole fishing rights on the lake. Lake Fuschl is richly endowed with many fresh water species. Gerhard, the master fisherman, would be delighted to inform you about the fascination of the lake and its underwater wildlife, followed by an authentic fisherman`s snack.

With over 130 kilometres of well prepared trails, the Fuschlsee region has an excellent reputation amongst cross-country skiers. Particularly the resort of Faistenau with approximately 60 kilometres of good trails as well as extra services is a must for cross-country enthusiasts. Plentiful parking, changing rooms, showers and toilets, ski hire and service room are available for the ambitious as well as nature loving cross-country skiers.
